How Common Are Supplements in Dogs? Evidence From the Dog Aging Project

In this episode, we explore a new article published in the American Journal of Veterinary Research (AJVR) on how common supplement use is among dogs enrolled in the Dog Aging Project with Drs. Janice O’Brien and Audrey Ruple. About half of all dogs in the study are given supplements, with omega-3 fatty acids and joint formulas topping the list — especially for dogs with orthopedic issues.
